My son, Nicholas, has taken to reading on the red wingback recliner we have downstairs. I remember when I was his age, my grandparents had an old second-hand red chair that I used to read in. It was in their bedroom when they were living with us and I’d read while my Lolo watched Joker’s Wild and my Lola would practice writing her signature. I read several volumes of the Chronicles of Narnia in that very chair and I hope that my grandparents didn’t mind my being there. Now my son continues on with the tradition.
